How to go:
Nafakhum is situated at bandarban so you have to go to bandarban at first. From bandarban you can hire a chander gari cost about 7-8 thousand or you can go by bus which will cost 190 taka to THANCHI. We were 9 Person in our team. we start our journey from dhaka (fakirapul bus station) shamoli paribahan. we went babdarban (date-15-12-2012) at 10:00am. we took our breakfast bandarban bus station. from there we ride a local bus to Thanchi. we reached thanchi at 4pm. we stay there at night. next morning at 9am we hair two boat tk.8000 thanchi to remacri. took a guide named patang. pagang is a local guide.
we went remakri at 12:30pm. from remakri we took banana and other food. than we start for nafakhum fall by foot. our guide patang gives us another local guide. it takes 2 hour on foot to reached nafakhum. so adventure journey from Thanchi to Nafakhum fall.

Where to stay:
At thanchi you can stay at thanchi rest house . We cost about 500tk for 7 people. At remakri you can stay at tribal house and cost about 500 taka for 10 people.

What to eat (food):
There are several hotels at thanchi so food is not a problem. But at remakri it is a problem. If you reach early at remakri then can take food at any tribal house. your guide helped that situation.

Tips/advise for traveler:
Travel during winter season because during rainy season flow of shangu was heavy and it is extremely dangerous journey especially at the place of boro pathor. If you are in hurry then take engine boat otherwise not. You must entry your full address and contact no at BGB in Thanchi.
